Its something special when you come across a leader like Ryley Norem. I took Mr. LeDucs class with Ryley. She is able to step up and take on multiple roles and be productive with all. She always made sure everything was done right and never wasn’t laughing. Any business would be lucky to have Ryley Norem as a leader.

What I Learned and Problems I Solved
Some things I learned from this project was mainly how I spend my time throughout a whole day so it was really interesting and I also learned how to work premier pro and edit audio in audacity. Some problems I solved was I wasn’t going to finish the project in time so I stayed after school with Mr. LeDuc and ended up getting the project and I ran into a few problems when it came to making the pie chart and working premier pro but I asked a few questions and got answers which helped me a lot.
Pressure Sound Designer Post-production Journal
Summary
This session I created sound effects to help improve the film we made last session in a remake.
Sound Design Effectiveness
The sound in our film had a huge impact such as tiny things like a clock ticking or the background noise of a classroom which all added tension to our film and made the viewers feel that stress. It also added more of a realistic element to the film and the sound really built the environment.
Working with The Editor
I worked with the editor this session by creating sound effects they needed for the film and uploading them into the folder where she wanted them so it made it easier on her when she needed to find those sound effects and add them during the editing process.
How I Could Have Improved The Film
I could have improved the film by making the music more dramatic or creating better sound effects that worked better with the film or even since I was the actor improve my acting for the film.
What I Learned
Something I learned from this session was what Foley sound effects are and how to create them from Mr. LeDuc and it helped me improve my ability to create sound effects and improve the sound in our film.

Collating Sound For Editing
Sound Choices
I chose to capture sounds like the clock and classroom noise to add a realistic environment to the film.
Composition Consideration
The director wanted some dramatic music to add more of a stress feeling to the audience and add tension to the film. We used the same music we used last session since this is a remake of our film from then and we were short on time for making music. Last session we made the music using garage band.
Musical Score Influences
We took inspiration from The Shining because of its dramatic music that adds tension throughout the film.
What I Learned and Problems I Solved
Something I learned this session was collaborating with the director and cinematographer more since I was also an actor this session and as a sound designer I learned more about foley sounds.
